Jay Snyder
Big Blue Innovations

Jay is the president of Big Blue Innovations (BBi), one of the leading technology consulting firms in the construction industry. BBi assists construction companies with the planning, selection and implementation of core technologies, advises on optimizing VDC operations, and develops data architectures for cross application analytics and AI readiness.

Jay has been in the engineering and construction industry for the past 25 years. He has industry experience as a construction project manager and a construction executive with a national general contractor, Southeast general contractor and a Carolinas-based healthcare system. He founded and sold a technology software company and was also the founder of FMI’s technology and innovation practice.

Jay earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from SUNY ESF at Syracuse University, a Master of Business Administration from Emory University, and postgraduate certifications from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a decorated military officer, now serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve.
