This course presents best practices in analyzing and forecasting the cost of a particular job. Don’t miss the opportunity to better understand why accurate forecasting is important for subcontractors and specialty contractors, and also examine several forecasting scenarios for percent complete and quantity-based forecasting. You’ll also discover effective approaches for cost and revenue reporting.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Understand best practices for forecasting labor and material-intensive projects.
- Recognize examples of cost reports that work with both unit cost contracts as well as percent complete contracts.
- Know how to implement a monthly forecasting model regardless of the software used.

This is a group internet-based course at the Basic Level. No prerequisites or advanced preparation required. A basic understanding of job cost analysis is recommended.
